Last year for APAC I spent a week in Beijing China and enjoyed every
minute of it. Coming in the air looked like the inside of a dust bowl but by the next morning a cold brisk wind made the air clean
and the sky blue. The weather didn't change until the morning I flew out making the entire trip: Hosts, host country, conference
speakers, and conference attendees, a complete pleasure. The morning I flew out the wind stopped and the change was pronounced as I
urged my taxi driver to go "faster faster" as we went to the airport outrunning the incoming dark-gray apocolypse.
So this year, deciding not to tempt fate and return to the PRC, good thing based on what I heard from those that were there, I
designed my week in Asia with a trip to OUGTH in Bangkok, Thailand, and three days in Auckland with NZOUG. |
